Julia Iriarte, Director, Producer

My goal as an immigrant filmmaker is to educate people about the similarities of human race and to ultimately help bring us closer together.

Julia Iriarte went to film school at the (Fundacion Universidad del Cine) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and specialized in film direction. She soon began working in international feature films and commercial as an assistant director. After earning a multimedia diploma at UBC, she worked as an editor and assistant editor while she also directing her own independent films. Based in Vancouver, she is currently producing and editing marketing and social media videos for several companies and non-profit organizations.

 I am a passionate multifaceted filmmaker with over a decade of experience working in film, television and international marketing campaigns.

Hi, I’m Chad, an award-winning producer/director/editor based in Vancouver, Canada. For 10 years, I’ve been the owner-operator and key creative behind Trail Films. Trail is a scalable media production company focused on crafting quality commercial video, documentary film and photography. I have a successful record of managing projects from initial client pitch through production and delivery in all major forms of production – from broadcast television to studio filmmaking and marketing campaigns.

I’m a Vancouver-based journalist, author and copywriter. My articles have appeared in the Vancouver Sun, Vancouver magazine, BC Business magazine, North Shore News, Business in Vancouver and many other publications. Over the past decade, I have won several national awards for my writing in newspapers and magazines. My first book, Vancouver Canucks: Tales From Canada’s Most Exciting Hockey Team, was published in 2004. I am currently writing a true crime book.
